IMO you can buy and sell up to the x date. As long as you own shares before the x date you get the divy, however the x date on this is 12/18 and the paydate is 12/15. So to be absolutly sure to get the divy, you need to own on or before 12/15. Any shares bought and sold between 12/1 and 12/15 will be bought and sold with the divy attached.
