Ge, can you confirm this came from Jim? It appears Hallgarten has a different side to the story.

Recall that Hallgarten took a short position in Niocorp last fall.

Per you, Sims claimed that the fund manager, Chris Ecclestone, was a “disgruntled former Molycorp investor.”

Hallgarten claims they never invested in Molycorp:
Hallgarten & Company (@hallgartenco) Tweeted:
Exec @NioCorp claiming our Short call is due to "being disgruntled Molycorp shareholders". Excuse us but we NEVER held ANY shares in #RareEarth stocks let alone the worst of all, #Molycorp. Retract!

Chris has also written a recent article on Molycorp and the company that rose from the ashes, Neo Performance. A reorganized Neo was all that came out of the Molycorp bankruptcy. Jim Sims remains or has been reappointed the media contact, I’m not quite sure. Perhaps through policycom, perhaps not. Hard to imagine how he makes 200k at Nio, is the VP of IR at IBC, has this Neo income and whatever else at policycom, but is still so financially strained putting a couple kids through college that he can only afford 8000 shares in Niocorp.

Below is a great article on the Molycorp history with a long view on the new Neo.

To all retail investors, I encourage you to read the FY19 10k. I fear some forward looking statements have been taken out of context. Please do your DD.
