Help!! MM's or Market Managers could someone explain to me what they do. How do they affect the price of a stock?? I thought market forces did that. If I read this post correctly then this morning's open down $0.06 was some how affected by the MM. BTW someone purchased 43,000 shares before the market opened today. TKO trades on the AMEX and cannot be purchased in the pre or post market. What gives?? I have seen thid happen several times and it always affects the poening price. Is that the work of the MM?? These probably seem like stupid questions to some of you but that's how I learn.
