I think this is part of what verb is working on. Cutting edge stuff to back up their claim to machine learning capabilities etc. My crude interpretation is that it provides haptics based on an image. For ex. Based on the tissue distortion in the image(fig 4), it can provide haptics to user and will basically say is the suture is good or bad. This is software stuff and i think they say can be applied to other systems. That link should work if not search US patent 10,383,694 B1 Aug 20 2019.
