New TRDX: People and Companies

First of all, thank Alstocks for bringing TRDX to my attention.

Thank Alstocks and others who work very hard to put together the connection between TRDX and Taiwanese Dazhen Longding companies.

In this post, I will use links to sources in original language. You can use any tool to translate into English or other languages for your reading. Please note that Taiwan uses traditional Chinese but mainland China uses simplified Chinese, so some words or names appear different in the Chinese media and Taiwanese media. To make thing more complex, the alphabetic spellings of names in Taiwan and China are different.

NVSOS lists three new officers for TRDX: President Lee Wei-Yu, directors Lee Cheng-Che and Lee Hsin-Jung. Those names will be spelled as Li Weiyu, Li Zhengzhe, and Li Xinrong, respectively.

Dazheng Longding Technology Co., Ltd can be found in Taiwan company registry: https://www.twincn.com/item.aspx?no=70571116

The company lists four officers: Lee Cheng-Che, Lee Hsin-Che, Lee Hsin-Jong, and Yang Yi-Bing.

The company address matches the address in NVSOS filing: 2F-2., No.669, Sec. 5, Zhongxiao E. Rd., Xinyi Dist., Taipei City 110, Taiwan;

It appears that there are several companies with name starting with Dazheng Longding (DZLD), and DZLD companies belongs to a group company Wistek Corporation, according to this link (http://www.wisinfo.com.tw/ld/ld000.htm). Wistek does have 31 years history.

It appears that DZLD had business in mainland China in 2013 as a technological consultant. Valand Industrial Corporation is a Wistek company and Shenzhen Fuxing Technology Co., Ltd is a mainland company. The two companies worked together to manufacture touch screens. http://www.wisinfo.com.tw/ld/20130618%E5%AF%8C%E8%88%88%E5%A4%A7%E6%AD%A3%E9%BE%8D%E9%BC%8E%E5%85%A9%E5%B2%B8%E5%90%88%E4%BD%9C%E5%B0%8D%E6%8E%A5%E6%9C%83%E8%AD%B0.pdf.

Another collaboration work with mainland China through Longding Group.
LD initiated contact with Tongling city in Anhui province in July 2009 and met mayor of Tongling city in January 2011 again. LD pledged to invest 8 billion yuan (about one billion USD) in Tongling. Tonglin government to provide land and policy to let LD build Taiwan Longdin Technology Park inside Tongling Jiangbei Industrial Park (a 'park in park' ). In May 2012, a Taiwan LD High Tech Technology Park project agreement was signed, LD pledged a total of 15 billion yuan investment in stages (http://www.ahyouth.com/news/20120521/456280.shtml).

Now this industrial park is re-named Taiwan Dazheng Longding (DZLD) High and New Technology Park, which can be viewed from here: https://j.map.baidu.com/1f/fZk. It is located in Tongling city, Anhui province, with Yanzhe River at north, Wuhu city to the east and provincial capital Hefei City at northwest.

About Longding Group:

The company was founded in 1958 as a architect studio, by Mr. Lee Chong-Yao, Taiwan's national treasure, an extinguished architect. http://www.wisinfo.com.tw/ld/ld002.htm.

His legacy is carried on by his son, Mr. Li Hsueh-Jong, a world class architect. His works and achievements are listed on wikipedia: https://zh.wikipedia.org/zh-tw/%E6%9D%8E%E5%AD%B8%E5%BF%A0_(%E5%BB%BA%E7%AF%89%E5%B8%AB). Li Hsueh-jong was the CEO of LD group. According to Wikipedia, Mr. Li has a son named Li Gang-Ze (Okawaza?).

Weather the current DZLD officers are related to the founding fathers of DZLD is unknown.

About company name Long Ding: Ding is a type of vessel made of bronze for worship in temple (https://zh.wikipedia.org/zh-tw/%E9%BC%8E). Long Ding is a Ding carved with dragon. It could look like any of these: http://image.baidu.com/search/index?tn=baiduimage&ps=1&ct=201326592&lm=-1&cl=2&nc=1&ie=utf-8&word=%E9%BC%8E

Tongling city means bronze temple. The city produced copper mineral in old times. LD group sets their feet in Tongling city is like finding home for dragon ding in a bronze temple. Mr. Li as an architect, must be very well familiar with Feng-shui studies.

DZLD's investment is very important to the local government. The Tongling city government even incorporated DZLD's business plan into its 12th five-year economical and social development plan: http://www.wisinfo.com.tw/ld/tl004.htm

Search DZLD in Chinese from qichacha.com or other search sites, yields in 8 companies related to DZLD, all in Tongling city, Anhui province, https://www.qichacha.com/search?key=%E9%93%9C%E9%99%B5%E5%B8%82%E5%A4%A7%E6%AD%A3%E9%BE%99%E9%BC%8E

The three key persons in these companies are: Li Zhengzhe (Lee Cheng-Che), Li Xinzhe (Lee Hsin-che), and Li Xinrong (Lee Hsin-Jung). All three Lee's are siblings or closely related in my opinion, and HJ Lee could be a female, judging from the Chinese name.

Dr. Lee Wei-Yu

In the photo below, from left to right are Dr. Lee, Taiwanese president Ma Ying-jeou, and other two award recipients. https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.wisinfo.com.tw%2F%25E7%25B8%25BD%25E7%25B5%25B1%25E5%2590%2588%25E7%2585%25A7.jpg&imgrefurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.wisinfo.com.tw%2Fwylee.htm&docid=QMarVb93S8MeJM&tbnid=eTHVrmNAmI5WUM%3A&vet=10ahUKEwjO_L-_z-fkAhXlmeAKHbFSBGoQMwhCKAAwAA..i&w=319&h=231&bih=952&biw=1033&q=%E6%9D%8E%E5%81%89%E8%A3%95%E6%95%99%E6%8E%88&ved=0ahUKEwjO_L-_z-fkAhXlmeAKHbFSBGoQMwhCKAAwAA&iact=mrc&uact=8

Professor Dr. Lee Wei-Yu is a head of electric engineering department at China University of Science and Technology (CUST) in Taiwan. His expertise in integrated optics makes him one of top specialist in Taiwan. Professor Lee has a long list of publications and numerous patents. http://me.cust.edu.tw/eee/teachers/Wei-Yu%20Lee.htm

According to this news article (http://www.gdcria.org/index.php?m=content&c=index&a=show&catid=8&id=495), Dr. Lee is the general consel for DZLD Touch Control Technology Company. His visit to Tongling city and the industrial park in May 2019 might be related to TRDX's future business plan over there.

Wistek Corp holds one US patent (http://www.wisinfo.com.tw/patent/TP301.htm) and other four key Taiwanese patents : M351418 (http://www.wisinfo.com.tw/patent/M351418.htm), M352729 (http://www.wisinfo.com.tw/patent/TP302.htm), M366122 (http://www.wisinfo.com.tw/patent/TP303.htm), and M386549 (http://www.wisinfo.com.tw/patent/TP304.htm). All these patents are related to optoelectric and touch screen technology.

It appears to me that the company or companies under three Lee's have history, money, technology, and their own manufacturing park in China. What are they going to produce? From DZLD website, it looks like they are going to provide components and services for 5G industry (http://www.wisinfo.com.tw/tl.htm). What are they going to do with the shell? What assets are to be merged into TRDX? Are they going to stay at OTC pink or upgrade to upper exchange? We have to wait for the revelation through filing.

To be honest I don't like their website www.wistek.com.tw. It looks like they use it for their own internal communication within the organization, such as announcing shareholder meeting and seminar schedules. They need a professionally designed good looking website for shareholders out of Taiwan.
