I think he mostly aligns with Glen, who thinks that the commons will end up between $4 and $7 at the end. My range is slightly higher, at $5-8.

You're not going to find any reasonable arguments against him here, though. I would suggest reading many sources, including the CoB&F thread.

Glen says he is mostly a worst-case kind of investor, and the worst case for the commons is much worse than the worst case for the prefs. I believe that the prefs have similar upside to the commons because a conversion to commons is highly likely (only if the commons look like they will have substantial upside), so the preference for me is clear.

All I can truly recommend, though, is to do your own due diligence, use logic and reason, and don't ascribe weight to an investment thesis based only the number of people who espouse it. A herd mentality is a fatal flaw when trying to beat the market.
