Yup, and the real thing of beauty in all this is that all the "rough stuff" of reform and across the aisle sniping gets dumped off on Congress while FHFA goes back to regulating and Treasury gets out of the legal crosshairs. The negative political history gets off-loaded to the two prior Administrations and the Trump team legacy is greatly enhanced. "We solved the crime of the Century" That's a whole lot better than any MAGA slogan. And, by the way, it would be the TRUTH.
