It is dragging out in part due to motions put forward. I expect that the SEC isn't interested in a deal and will wait for the court date. Charges of manipulation and interstate fraud are serious. You also have a barred broker working for the company. There are numerous other charges so the judge will be kept busy.

My wife has a few case files that are similar . They seem to take forever up here in Canada.
