Plinter1, great story. We once left Annecy to go into Italy through the mountain tunnel. The Italian checkpoint/Entry wanted 75 euros to go through. We told him we were just looking for great Italian pizza.

He told us to do a 180 back to France at the border and not pay the toll as the best original Italian pizza was 1/4 mile back in France. (run by an Italian family.)

Bottom line, American Round Table and others blows original Italian pizza away. What a joke of a pizza in country. No more "original" Italian pizza for me.

The people, cheese and bread however are the bomb!
