No, I'm saying that daily short volume is meaningless and does not indicate anything relating to shorts

All it shows is one side of MM trades that are covered within the same day. People don't seem to know the difference between short selling and short volume.

Short selling happens but it is nominal and does not impact the overall trading action. People that short these do so with small amount of shares for small gains as there are not a lot of shares available to short and it costs too much. And those doing it illegally offshore, same thing they are doing it for small amounts.

People claim shorting on every single penny stock from .0001 to .01 and it just isn't the case.
