Good question.... I don't know..... Let's see.... Malak is known to be a good manipulator.... hmmm..... Maybe he manipulated Dr Gil into something, in order to attempt to pump vplm. The whole thing sounds fishy. Why was the info about their agreement to move vplm fwd "leaked" in February? Was that Malak doing the leaking or was it a mole in his group of associates? And why no NDA as is the usual case with things? And since no NDA, then why were the exact & full details not made public in the PR (its quite vague as per the PR)? If there WAS an NDA, then since when do you publish the names and certain specific details of an "offer", such as option amounts? In the past, vplm has tried to make it sound, on numerous occasions, that there were "offers on the table", imminent deals, s&p 500,etc and in each case NO DETAILS WHATSOEVER WERE GIVEN such as names & amounts or anything else and vplm always stated that was due to NDAs. So now, all of a sudden, out of the blue, they PR an alleged offer with names & amounts & other details??? THIS REEKS OF AN EMU MALAK GIMMICK, MUCH LIKE HIS PAST GIMMICKS THAT FAILED. No counter offers. No full details. And hard to believe that after all these years of failure of the alleged goal of his per vplm, and his basically sounding like he gave up on selling per the his IPWatchdog article where he bitched & complained at everybody but himself, that he would TURN DOWN a REAL, TRUE BLUE $150 MM, esp at his age. $150 mm & the chance to walk away from the big headache......and he says "nah, I'll pass".

Maybe Malak is a friend of Dr gils & maybe Dr Gil agreed to do him a favor and "go along with" a basically phony "offer" in order to help his friend prove he could finally, after all these years, get an actual offer (well, not really an actual offer if they agreed privately that it would not be accepted, which is impossible to prove).
Above are possibilities.....to me, probabilities, but my opinion only.
Perhaps ask the orig poster of the February info if he knows from his friend who called him w/the info, whether or not he knows if Malak & Dr Gil are friends?
