Surely you jest!!! Performing a thorough analysis, bringing a respected colleague (Sweet) in to further review the patent portfolio, getting positive feedback on the IP, then calling all of your buddies for a monetization “feel”. Immediately after the Alice dismissal, he likely decided to spring an OPTION to purchase virtual control W/O immediate cash. This is an aggressive tactic that has NOT worked; TO-DATE.
Therefore it stands to reason that Amelio/Sweet had plans. My guess is that there was buyout/licensing discussion for the company with this group BUT Amelio got greedy and decided they could “steal it” after the Alice dismissal!
