As for blaming big pharma and the Oxy problems . . . I have trouble making them the Big Bad Wolf . . . Wolfie. I had major shoulder surgery a couple of years back and I had to take Oxy and other pain killers. Once my shoulder started healing and the pain subsided, I stopped taking them. I only took them for 3 days anyway and endured the minor pains thereafter. Big pharma made medicines for people such as myself who needed them and then knew how to stop. It's the weak people who caused all the heartache. Common sense says you need to stop taking addictive medicines.

And these are supposed to be CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES! My daughter is a doctor and she is VERY particular as to whom she gives such prescriptions to and how many refills. Very vigilant. So, where is it so OUT OF CONTROL? Now, HERE is where I can blame big pharma. How do so many shady shacks in Mexico, Canada, China and elsewhere get bushel baskets of these pills for distribution and mostly without a prescription? Big pharma SHOULD be fined and hauled into court for losing control of distribution of these pills. Only bona fide drug stores should be able to receive these meds, and they should come DIRECTLY from the manufacturer. Not through questionable third party distributors. This is from where the 'controlled' breakdown is coming.
