I can't tell you how disappointing I found yesterday's hearing. Awhile ago I bought into the Maloni view that Mnuchin would be a foil to thwart Calabria doling out the GSE's "goods" to TBTF banks. I never expected to see them have some Kumbaya Moment where they align to implement the "shrunken head" agenda and anal-retentive desires to keep as much of the GSE's cash as possible for "taxpayers" (which is Beltway double speak for undisclosed "fun money for Mnuchin's pleasure").
