IMO no one is responsible for other people's purchases.
We give opinions based on beliefs at the time, but ultimately I don't believe in pushing the blame.

That does not cover CEOs that intentionally scam, but I don't think that is the case here anyway. But bad things do happen to good investments. I just hope Jan is able to salvage whatever is going on.
