A new lithium ion battery could shatter the ceiling of current electric vehicle batteries Swiss startup Innolith says one charge can power a car for up to 600 miles The 'wet' lithium-ion battery is powered by a proprietary electrolyte solution. Battery still in development and the firm says it could take five years to launch. The battery is being tested by PJM Power.
