“The deal gives Cronos a foothold in the fast-growing U.S. CBD market, where consumers are clamoring for beauty products, foods and oils containing the cannabis compound. Congress legalized hemp-derived CBD late last year, making retailers more comfortable with stocking the products.”
It seems the acquiring of Redwood Holding Group, owner of popular CBD beauty brand Lord Jones will give Cronos an advantage over the other Canadian marijuana companies where the sales of CBD gummies won’t start until December. Redwood Holding Group’s businesses are selling them now in America.
