1. Buyout/partnership/Acquisition - this is the position I hold and based off the research of myself and others regarding M&A, buyout. Long term view.
2. Shorters/day traders - the legal position to make money off a stock that behaves the way TMDI has. Very predictable and able to take a short position. Short term view
3. Somewhere in the middle, not sure what too make of Titan Medical. On the one hand, very predictable to this point and easily could trade in an out to sell at a high and buy back in at a low to increase share count. On the other hand, the shoe could drop at any second. A ton of coincidences that don't make sense, primary among them is "Why does Chad Zaring or Why does Medtronic let Chad Zaring go to a direct competitor of their upcoming surgical robotic platform announcement of Sept 24?"
Sept 24th is less then 20 days away, well within the Wash Sale rules that prohibit any seller of stock to buy back in within 30 days. IS IT WORTH THE RISK? IMO, not too sure, I haven't been able to come up with a good answer as to why Chad Zaring would leave the top post of Medtronic's future to go work with Titan.
