Solar news from Canada:

Greengate Power received approval for the largest solar project in Canada. The project is estimated to reach C$500 million in investments, generate 400 megawatts of power and provide electricity to 100,000 homes in Alberta.



At today's rate of exchange, its almost $1 Billion US per Gigawatt!

India has a goal of 100Gw solar energy by 2022.

The State of Assam has a goal of 6Gw Solar energy by 2030.

Qamronics (the JV between AMTRON and Amtronics India (QMC Licensee) is building a Quantum Dot Solar Cell Factory in Assam. Should do well IMO.
