The CVD industry sort of reminds me of NASA. There are many beneficial spinoffs coming from the scientific studies and manufacturing of CBD.

Just 20 miles south of me right here in southcentral Kentucky, a new CBD facility is springing up with a $1 million grant from the state. Not only will area farmers be contracted to produce over 500 acres of hemp, but this has a trickle down effect.

1. The facility requires a major water line. Putting in this line will benefit area residents (our in the country) by the branching off of this line bringing water to many homes.

2. This leads to an upgrade to the existing water treatment plant for a large nearby city.

3. Sewer lines going to the CBD facility will also allow branching off to area homes, thus eliminating septic tanks for those homeowners.

4. The local agricultural industry will receive a boost from all the increase of money flowing from local farmers.

5. The area where the new CBD facility is being constructed did not have fire department protection (through water lines). With the added 10" pipe, fire protection will now be available in that area.

6. Sometime this month, there will be a groundbreaking ceremony with Senator McConnell doing the dedication.

7. Many new jobs are coming with this new plant.

With a little imagination, one could extend this 'by-product list' to see many benefits from this industry. NASA had as its objective to launch successful missile flights, but as we all know, there were MANY beneficial things to come indirectly from this endeavor. The CBD industry is doing much the same thing.
