Everyone knows why there's a new bidding process.

It's obvious to me. I have highlighted in GREEN

What I KNOW,,, beyond any shadow of doubt.

The Navy has made it abundantly clear, they want TMPS.

The Navy took a very long period of time reviewing the bids for the contract before granting it. During that time the Navy signaled their willingness to cut ties with omega with a 6 month extension. As the review process continued they left no doubt that their relationship with omega was drawing to a close with yet another extension.

Then they also spent a lot of time before shooting down the first omega protest.

The decision was reached by the Navy after an unusually extended period of deliberations where no stone was left unturned.

Again,,, In short the Navy has made their intentions very clear to ME.

Everything written above is a FACTUAL observation.

Now,,, As AJH92 points out,,,

From the GSA website:

Q: What is a multiple award contract, and why is it better than other contract types?

A: A multiple-award contract confirms that multiple companies have the basic qualifications to perform a general type of work. This type of contract puts into effect the government’s preference for multiple awards for IDIQ-type contracts in order to maximize competition and choice for specific supplies and services.

Two companies, maybe more, will enter bids for contracts TOTALLY INDEPENDENT of each other. Each will or will not win a contract based solely on their ability to deliver. So if omega does not win a contract it will be only because they could not perform in a cost effective manner & they will not be able to hold up anyone else who wins a contract with any frivolous protests.

Also, I still believe omega complained that because Scott Terry was involved with the first bid that TMPS essentially had insider information simply because he was the pioneer that won omega's first contract when he ran Fight International.

Think what you want but omega could have held us up in court for an extended period of time on this point alone even if they knew they would lose in the end.

Dr. Terry no longer holds a position at TMPS so that becomes a dead point of contention.

Who knows. Maybe omega gets another contract.

But there's no question in MY mind that TMPS WILL get their contract.

In the end,,, TMPS will be refueling Navy aircraft.

The present PPS amounts to nothing less than a fire sale on a future NAZDAQ company.
