The NVSOS license has not been paid, and they have a year to do so before becoming "delinquent". Non-issue here.

Not so. They are currently in "Default" and after a year they get "Revoked". Being 4 months late in paying their fees to renew their corporate license is a big deal. It reveals that GIFX is hard pressed to come up with even a small amount of money to cover that fee. No efficient or well run business intentionally is late and intentionally wants to pay late fees.
