I wouldn't think 1 brokerage firm would make much of a difference in trading volume for 1 particular stock. But, maybe another Million a day in volume. Me personally, If I would have been denied trading, I would have moved or opened another account to buy what I wanted. Nothing stops me when I want something badly enough. I have both a TD Ameritrade and Fidelity accounts. I never have problems buying anything with TD Ameritrade. My Fidelity IRA account cautions or wants me to speak to a rep. when I try to buy penny stocks is my only problem with them.
