Apollo, I don't know about this group, but shills abound on many ultra high dividend stock boards on Seeking Alpha. A few years ago SA made a big deal over kicking out about 15 of their "authors."

ORC has been a dreadful performer. Its flashy double-digit dividend has been unsustainable but it sure draws in unsophisticated newbies who don't bother to look "under the hood" to see the gimmicks behind the ever-falling dividend. Many also make the mistake of thinking they can profit by buying before the fat div dividend payout and selling afterward. That doesn't work but some rookies try it.

You don't see Warren Buffett buying junk like ORC.
