Frrol, I agree with and appreciate your statement: "There is no conspiracy to not cure cancers. There are in fact millions of incredibly bright, loving, hard working people working at many hospitals, clinics, and companies doing everything they can to treat them and cure them. And the financial incentives are huge, not to mention the personal, moral, and ethical ones".
But I have to add that medical system errors, according to a Johns Hopkins study (and my own personal observations after decades in the public health/medical system) are the third leading cause of death in America, behind heart disease and cancer. We lead the advanced world here, hands down, unfortunately.
This major factor must also must be weighed in, as well as the greed of many pharma companies, upper level insurance and hospital managers. The many mistakes and bad outcomes, in my view, are too often tied to the greed, blindly self-interested lobbying and related causes that distort the system and the millions of fine people who work and do their best in it. 400,000 dead, for example, in the opioid crisis is an unbelievably powerful fact that must be addressed nationwide. How did that ever be allowed to happen? In America?
