Attendance at a campaign rally for Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin that featured Donald Trump Jr. was so poor on Thursday afternoon that the few people there were asked to leave their seats and crowd around the stage.
Ryland Barton, the statehouse reporter for Kentucky Public Radio, posted a photo on his Twitter account showing the tiny crowd at the event. “Organizers have asked the audience to move out of the seats and closer to the stage ahead of Trump Jr/ Gov. Bevin event in Pikeville,” he wrote. “I think it’s fair to say this is sparsely attended.”
