Personally I think a sh@tload of backroom discussions are happening surrounding MJ federal scheduling.

I think the DEA will be forced to lower MJ to schedule 2 which will open up the doors for medical research.

I think the entire sector has been waiting for this, and until it happens, a lot of these pinkies will continue a slow bleed out.
