Agreed again. But submit IND before grabbing the preferred shares. An accepted IND opens business options. Sweeten the pot before lining the pockets.
IMO the PC trial is the wrong approach to showcase the encapsulation technology (the only thing worth while). If one does true DD, goes back in time, interviews participants, you will see why a Phase 1 will be required now. DD is more than ihub and yahoo lol.
Further, logic and existing prodrug knowledge will indicate the chances of local ifex prodrug activation will have little to no PC tumor effect due to drug concentration in the blood (while considering the heart beats and blood flows). But...add an arm with no ciab and low ifex dose and prove it, that is what scientists would do.
The PC trial will only proceed by dumb luck. And when it fails the potential of "cell encapsulation" will be lost in that failure and its value greatly set back.
Frankly, me thinks this PC treatment "mechanism of action" has been investigated already by TD2 and found not thrilling. I don't hear PMCB talking mechanism of action much. The understanding of which is really the basis of an IND. If one paid attention to conference calls, this question was asked, and acknowledged it is not understood. Pointed questions indicate the same. Why would they never attempt to prove, through animal trials or whatever, some understanding? Well I think TD2 did. That is what TD2 does. What happened with TD2?
The holy grail is cell encapsulation. I don't know about you but I am not feeling real confident with AN. So far not convinced with the p450 cells. Melligen was a bust. And then how about all the other cell encapsulation efforts....wait, what others? Where is the proof, other than PMCB PR's, that AN cell encapsulation is viable or buying some experiments through an Edmunds catalog (old timers joke there)?
Time to man up and get realistic here. If they got the goods prove it now and stop financing rich life styles with promises of the future that never arrive and are based on faulty logic.
