Market/AMD What-Ifs ...

Got out of AMD and tried to trade BHC for a couple weeks. First week worked OK but second week got off to a bad start so closed that. All-cash since early this morning.

Looking at getting back into AMD. But when?

$SPX is trading within a symmetrical triangle, and I'll suggest it breaks lower within a week, then it goes down to test $2,725 (blue dashed line). I have no clue if that would hold.

AMD is trading within its 4-tine fork but could break below that. Should I add a fifth tine? Don't think so. Once it breaks below its 4-tine fork, it's got a blue declining triangle to deal with, but then it has a lot of support ranging from $26 to $28 (April-May); so maybe a quick case for an optimistic correction is that it trades in a new horizontal channel having boundaries at $28 and $29.50 (as there are reversals there during the last three months), which means it breaks out of the side of the triangle just above, or at, its base, then trades sideways for awhile.
