Bingo! You nailed it right there. RAD sold over 2,000 of its preferable locations to Walgreens (WBA) in the alternative 3d deal after the intial acquisition and scaled back acquisition could not get government approval. RAD had to do this to raise badly needed cash in order to reduce its massive debt load to just survive and stave off BK. Now, RAD does not have the scale to even begin to compete in the retail pharmacy space and, IMO, is now doomed to die a slow and painful death.
