@Thomas I certainly expect many of these trials to covert into contracts, and I expect that the company will beat 3rd quarter guidance of $13 million. The problem is that even if they do $14million, in my opinion the stock isn't going to rocket. That's because their growth will still be matched by dilution, and their cash levels will continue to decline. I believe ideally what Veritone wants is not to be in the business of selling apps for aiWare. They want others to create the apps based on the aiWare platform, and Veritone wants to manage the aiWare platform. They are pushing these apps to get aiWare out there. Soon they will be coming out with "Automate Studio", which will easily allow, customers, partners, etc. to design and adapt apps specifically to their own unique purposes. This is a great idea because Veritone does not have the resources to successfully design, market and service all aiWare apps themselves. aiWare is an AI operating system and in order for it to be successful you have to have an ecosystem of companies who want to design apps on aiWare. Veritone has done a great job. They have the operating system with over 400 cognitive engines and growing. That alone is a remarkable accomplishment for a small company. Now they are demonstrating that there is market interest in the apps that they have created for aiWare. In the near future they will release Auatomate Studio which will make it easy for others to design aiWare apps. All this and they currently have an enterprise value of around $40 mill based on todays stock price. Chad Steelberg said today that the low stock price is the best thing that has ever happened to us. Well it would seem to me that based on this low price and what they have accomplished, it is a glaring opportunity for someone with greater resources to do a strategic deal with Veritone or just throw out a bid for the entire company. Maybe it will be Microsoft. Their is supposed to be a "plethora of meetings" with them between now and the next couple of weeks.
