New technique produces longer-lasting lithium batteries

Lithium batteries are here to stay. It will be difficult to unseat them because they are the standard and the price is always falling. Because of this they are always finding new applications for them. Also, engineers are always working on improvements to this technology to make them more safe and have better performance. Because of these factors lithium has a large start on any revolutionary battery that comes along. Any revolutionary new battery product will be very expensive in the beginning and so once the mass of consumers get use to paying $15,000 to $35,000 for an Electric Vehicle, they will be reluctant to buy a product that is $50,000 to $70,000. Also, battery manufacturers make money on batteries that die out over a certain time period and they have to replace them. So, if someone develops a battery that get's 1000 mile range yet is expensive and lasts 20 years battery manufacturers will not implement it because they will lose money. They would rather work with the current system and improve the batteries to say get a 500 mile range and replace the batteries in 10 years and make money.

So the current environment will be like this for a very long time. You will here about a supposed battery breakthrough from time to time but what you find is that it usually doesn't not leave the lab. So Australian Mines LTD (AMSLF) is here t stay. They will be a big battery metals company. So now is the time to invest in AMSLF. Get in now while the stock price is so low.
