Ok. They keep a certain part of the business. That still does not mean this current deal is going to activate this shell into a reporting ticker. If Rabobank did not have this as an active symbol when they were bigger, why have it active as a smaller entity?
Will they need the financial assistance as a smaller/different entity?
Need someone to substantiate possibilities with facts.

It is fact the acquiring company is already a financial stock trading entity.
There is nothing with this shell the acquiring company needs.
