David Earl Perley..Amazon forest "soggy logs".."oil and gas"

Perley --a construction guy with an American Chopper daddy mustache who lives in Argyle about 15 miles from his old crooked crony Eddie-- is identified by name in each of the following links.

Perley dreamed up a get rich scam he called ECOWOOD to recover "soggy logs" [www.soggylogs.com --a dead link] from the Amazon river. In 2007 he allegedly merged with a San Antonio based NASDAQ traded company called ANALYTICAL SURVEYS INC. As anyone can read, from this 3/13/2007 PR

The new combined company will focus on Ecowood's core business of hardwood log recovery from the Amazon River system. In addition to cleansing the river system and relieving pressure on the living rainforest, the recovery process provides high-quality, commercial hardwood logs used in the production of furniture, hardwood floors and other wood-based products. There are an estimated 61.4 billion cubic meters of recoverable logs from the navigable river ways. The combined company will continue to operate the ASI Energy business, which is focused on the discovery of oil and natural gas resources, as a wholly owned subsidiary.

Many more PR's from ASI-- all from 2006 - 2007.

And this SEC filing

Not surprising Perley's "soggy logs" boondoggle flopped. After all what does a house builder in north central TEXAS know about salvaging logs from rivers in Brazil. However, Perley sued his insurer and won a $1.5 million judgement which in 2016 was reduced on appeal by 90%.

So it's not inconceivable that Perley is mixed up with yet another oil and gas venture. Eddie has a long history of reaching out to old partners to see if they have anything he could use to pump a stock. IMO no legitimate company would ever seek out Eddie much less crawl in bed with him. But Perley has and might do so again.

My "opinion" is as valid as your "hearsay"
