The best part about that paper though is that the scientists didn't know what they were testing.. The scientists were under the impression that what they were testing was straight forward, unadulterated, CO2 extract, but that was not the case at all.

Again .. speculation. Were you there? You have no way of knowing what the scientist in question know or dont know, or what their impression was. This is all your spin on your own opinion.
