That's all great information and I believe has been shared here a couple different occasions by a few others.
Did you look to see how many of those companies did a R/S?
VCEL - 20/1, 10/15/13
SGMO - NO R/S
KOOL - 10/1, 6/4/19 (very recent)
ATHX - 1/0, 6/4/07
VTGN - 20/1, 8/13/14
I have not researched the history of their share structures as to why a R/S was performed, but we all pretty much know why.
SGMO did not, and is trading at $11.51, so realistically LAHO/GSCG would not have to R/S. I'd rather see a buyback announced. With current share structure and after merger revenue (let's say $116M), it would instantly be worth about $.03. That's without any multipliers figured in. Most would be happy with that.
So, anyone saying stem cell research is dying is flat out wrong. They haven't done the research.
News will be coming soon and we'll know then.
Food for thought: if you were Dave or Benito and had your own personal money invested and had millions of shares into this...would you do a R/S and hurt yourself? Not likely.
Pretty sure most here will agree with me on this one. My opinion of course.
Here's to a great trading day at LAHO.
