I had stomach pains that led to blood work. Elevated lipase levels indicative of pancreas inflammation led to me choosing a CT scan instead of an ultrasound. Ultrasound showed pancreas and other organs were fine aside from an abnormality on left kidney. I followed up with a urologist and they did a needle biopsy confirming cancer. Stomach pains were unrelated and were likely stress induced. So yes, I'd say part accident part divine intervention.
