Is a take over by Constellation possible in this political climate? What they may want to do and what they are able to do are two completely different things. The same regs that prevented Canopy from buying Acreage prevent Constellation from buying Canopy would they not? In the mean time, anything that happens from here reflects back on Constellation since they are very blatantly controlling all aspects of Canopy now. It would reflect very badly on them if they sunk it and since I would assume they understand the market share of their core business that will be lost to cannabis, their intention would be to use the giant life raft Canopy gives them.
