CHDT board, I have a good friend that works at Home Depot, I called him up this morning while he was at work and ask him if he heard of China Direct or if they carry any Chinese Generators or roof tiles. He said no, the only chinese generators he's aware of is at some Auto parts store and it's a Honda knock off. He said he never heard of these products and he's well aware of generators. This guy was my neighbor for the past 11 yrs at my last residence which is a condo. We were neighbors up untill 2 months ago.
Believe me he's a very smart guy, he would know and the guy who hired him is also a manager in the same building. Anyway I am sending him ChinaDirect website so he can check out the products tonight in detail. He said it's a first he has ever heard of it. Can someone else refute this story?

I willkeep you all posted of his investigative work, I honestly doubt this company. As I said all along, who will fixt the generators when broken? Who will supply the parts? And who will use their roof tiles, certainly not the big builders. Low end homes at best. Maybe Trailors? Anyway I am only sharing some of my insights and concerns in this company, I highly doubt Florida will continue to buy their products if in fact it's really offered for sale in Florida.

I know for a fact the American government doesn't allow Chinese vehicles in this country, only for off road activities in rural areas. Such as a farm or other hard work in rural areas from the general public. So I highly doubt they would allow the generators in the american public homes.

Call me basher if you want, but I am calling it as I see. I willsupply you all with a US distributor of the Chinese trucks so you all can call him for yourselves. I will look for the ph# and post it later today or tomorrow.

I haven't checked to see if they are still in business, but if they are feel free to ask him some questions on the Chinese trucks.
