The reason a few companies have de-listed and a bunch of IPO's have preferred the london stock exchange or Euronext is the extra costs in the US to follow the Sarbenes Oxley Law.
After the last 2001 market crash the politicians tighten up the rachet and made sure the CEO's had to sign off on the financials. There are some accounting issues that need to be relaxed.
Investing in US companies listed on the Nas, Amex, or NYX is reassuring in that the financials as reported are accurate.
The only reason a company would want to relist somewhere else is to fly under a looser set of accounting practices . I am not suggesting fraud.
