long dong.remember though.back in those days they had 10x margin.so was the cash flow back then into equities similar?
i don't know and really don't think it matters much.
for 3 years the talking heads have been trying to make the arguement that all of this sideline money will come into the market.well.it didn't.at least the smart money didn't.
they've also been saying that this time it's different.people have ira's.401k's.blah.blah.blah.and the markets still plummeted.
there's lot's of other investments out there.there's safe money and smart money out there.
ira's.401k's.mutual funds.mean nothing in the big scheme of things.in my opinion.except that they may be additional instruments for losing money.lol.
someday we'll be in a new bull market.2010 maybe?
