These articles regarding aurora (bottom) are well exemplary of some the issues many companies in this sector are facing... MDCL has made acquisitions, thus far, at fair or (as referenced here) discounted value. The green equity acquisition could easily have cost 20-30x as much and still been accretive - the price only makes sense if you listen to the interview where Andy discusses how this came to be: whereby green equity ID'd MDCL as a company that would stay in business for some years and wanted to put the assets in good hands... apparently initially contacting MDCL... thus, an extraordinary deal via extraordinary circumstances. The slew of acquisitions to come will be at fair value, they will be of well managed companies that are already successful... accretive in short order and insider ownership is more than enough to quell dilution in the interim.

Whats this imply? MDCL is positioning to outmaneuver the big players in this industry while it is valued 1/50-1/150 as much and paying a fraction of what the "big boys" are paying to expand. The approach is much more responsible, much more fiscally sound... much more mature in general... and ultimately much more valuable not only to the shareholder but also to the legislator who needs to see this industry being responsible in sound legitimate business before shifting the legal opinion at the federal level and opening the door to an exciting industry that may displace violent criminal gangs from a large portion of the market and allow "drug enforcement" to focus on the drugs that are destroying communities (see below).
