If the past is any indication for the future I would agree that we're on our own until some news-worthy PR finally comes. Hopefully good news.

Let me say that I'm not one for pump and dump or idle information being put out just for the sake of it, but I also believe Management can take steps to defend the share price IF THEY SO CHOOSE TO DO SO. They just have to choose to do it and to my recollection they never have.

I would also note that when the gold bull market gets going in earnest it's very much to ALL shareholders advantage to have some sort of steady information stream flowing. That will definitely move the share price higher.
