I'm a retired lawyer who's been investing successfully since age 19 long, long ago.

Christmas is approaching. Get a copy of Warren Buffett's favorite book, The Intelligent Investor by Ben Graham. Graham, a Columbia University econ professor was a billionaire (adjusted for inflation) and Buffett is worth nearly $100 billion. That book is standard fare in many college investing courses and Buffett re-reads it every year. It's easy reading and quite interesting. Learn from the best, not the Oxford Club... or the penny stock shills in this neighborhood.

Best yet, check out the The Intelligent Investor for free from just about any public library.
