Obviously the restrictions are in place to save the broker's ass.  It is either that they fear for hackers pumping and dumping the stock and then they have to pay to cover or it is them covering their own short position.  Either way it is about them protecting themselves NOT protecting their clients even if that's what they want you to believe.  If their clients accounts get hacked then the brokers pay up, not the clients.  Think about it.  I say call them on their bullchit.

If we keep getting news like we did today, then the restrictions wont matter.  If SIIR or Never Submit is the next Napoleon Dynamite or Blair Witch then there will be a ton of attention on this stock.  The low volume will only increase the pressure put on the price, and then if the restrictions are lifted, the proverbial dam will break in a good way.  All just my opinion of course.
