Mining costs for tailings is really low as it’s just sitting in heaps. There are billions of dollars sitting around because the old mining techniques couldn’t extract at lower particle levels. Now with technology updates, these dumps are incredibly valuable.

Re the bond that somebody asked about. It’s quite simple, they have $600m cash to play with. It’s secured against the tailings I’d assume.
