I don't think it is monkey business at all.

Anyone could reach the same conclusion you just did ("this is a few weeks out"). The immediate corollary to that is that there is no urgency to buy, or buy more, even if you like the stock.

If I could afford to buy all of them, I would not need to buy any of them and I sure wouldn't be spending time on the message boards!
