"Yes, hundreds of thousands. If you remember or aware of, twit did a big clean out of paid for followers like fb has done. All social sites were offering or not stopping 3rd party purchasing of fake names. The sellers would claim all names were legit. Of course that's not possible, so a ton of plastic celebrities and their 'influencer agents' took a hit of bad media.
Didn't hurt them a bit as they are all doing it again in other ways.
The big excuse from the 'stars' is that they weren't aware of the scams and their 'influencer agents' were to blame. Total bullshit from celebrities.\
