The US companies that have listed are either doing pharmacuetical research, packaging, hemp, supplies or some other indirect relation to cannabis. Banking would be another that's allowed.
NASDAQ does not disqualify because it's cannabis, but because of its legal status. Canadian based companies are allowed because they can legally sell it where they operate. Note that not one of them operate in the US, as much as they want to.
This is an old argument and it's not controversial. I'm not even sure why we're talking about it because it may not even apply to GRN, unless they want to start selling MJ.
