This is not unexpected. Both INTC and AMD are priced for AMD to achieve about 20% revenue share, which is a triple from where they are now. I don't see how AMD can do that without a significant presence in the server market.

The benchmarks we see are for a 28 core 14nm INTC server, versus a 64 core 7nm AMD server. The results shouldn't be too surprising. It does appear the 56 core INTC part is MIA as there are no benchmarks for it. Companies doing server evaluations now have 10nm IceLake parts in hand rather than the cascade lake parts in the current reviews.

I expect substantial revenue growth for AMD in the next two quarters, but it is still a small amount compared to INTC revenue. The INTC story on how they are making up for that lost revenue is weak.
